ID’s and Birth Certificates:
For information about how to change birth certificates , this is also a ID Change Support Fund run by TGV to assist trans and gender diverse people experiencing financial hardship to cover the costs of updating their name and sex record on their Victorian Birth Certificate.
Gender Expression and Affirmation:
Gender affirmation are the processes a trans person determines is right for them in order to live as their gender, feel comfortable and euphoric, and in many cases so that society recognises them the way they want and need. There a lot of different ways your can affirm your Gender Identity check out a great list here
Sock Draw Hero’s is an online store for gender expression for the trans, gender diverse and queer community. In addition to selling gender affirming products. Their based in Sydney and are a Trans owned business and they also run a Pay It Forward Program where you can donate an amount towards a gender expression product - chest binder, packer or tucking gaff.
